In San Silvestre we make a commitment to provide a favourable environment for the emotional and social development of each of our pupils. Our objective is to contribute to their intellectual development so that they can take the utmost advantage of the equal opportunities available for women today.
The close and continuous coordination between the different areas and the environment of confidence, harmony and respect between the teaching staff and the pupils help achieve these objectives. That is precisely the key to the success of San Silvestre.
We believe that the pupils are the school’s foundation and consider each one of them to be a valuable part of the educational community. Their enthusiasm, talents, effort, successes and their active participation in school life contribute to this unique San Silvestre environment.
Pupils in Primary and Secondary of Grade 6 and Forms I and II have one hour a week of Guidance, under the guidance of a psychologist who gains their confidence. In this encouraging environment, different subjects are discussed and activities take place, mainly for guidance and prevention purposes.
